The Coffee Store — Ciudad Jardín
Project type
Commercial - Interior Design
Date
2026
Location
Buenos Aires, Argentina
The Coffee Store presents as a bright, welcoming café situated in Ciudad Jardín Lomas del Palomar, province of Buenos Aires. True to the neighbourhood's name, the design is built around the dialogue between interior and garden, where transparency becomes the central theme and the surrounding tree-lined streets are drawn into the space. Full-height glazing wraps the corner salon, framing the canopy as a living backdrop. A continuous terracotta banquette runs along the glass, topped by a planter that blurs the line between seating and street. At the heart of the café, a monolithic terrazzo counter holds the bakery display. Behind it, warm oak panelling conceals the back of house and a sage green wall carries the brand above the coffee bar.
This connection extends outdoors to the terrace: a light-filled pavilion under a translucent roof, enclosed in frameless glass that keeps the trees and street in full view while sheltering guests throughout the year. The palette of terracotta, rosé terrazzo, natural wood and sage green draws directly from earth and foliage. Together they give the space a calm, sunlit warmth that feels like a natural extension of the garden city around it.
